6 Ways To Find Immediate Relief From Stress

Are you having a bad day? Do you usually feel the heat of a busy day so much that you just want a break? If yes, welcome to the club. I've been there, lived through it, and almost walked past it and you can too.

The big question is How? Let me unveil the secrets right before your eyes...

1. Why are you stressed

You may be wondering how I know you are stressed. (Here is how: 7 hidden signs of stress). As a wise lady once said, the first solution to a problem is to recognize that there is a problem.  Next, we go to the roots of the matter which is, identifying the cause of the problem.

For this you need to give us very honest responses to these questions: what is stressing you out? Is it work, school, family, or something else? Who or what exactly about work is stressing you out? Is it the workload the amount of work time or what?

2. Relax

This is one thing you should do when you feel like things are becoming too much. Stop taking a moment to just breathe take slow and deep breaths focus on you’re breathing and feel the tension in your body reduce. Whatever it is, know that you can handle it. It cannot be more than you I know that.

3. Talk To a friend

Everybody has that one bestie who will call them up in the middle of a busy day to say "I am stressed" or "This work is stressing me out".That's their way of airing out. Who do you call or talk to? Are you the bestie who everybody else calls? We can either fix that or find another way which is, you can write down how you feel in that classy diary of yours, feel free and write down exactly what you feel.

4. Live in the moment

Worrying too much about what happened or what will happen will not change anything. You can only try to learn from your past mistakes in order not to repeat them in the future. So worry not about the past or the future just enjoy the beautiful moments in the present. Then you can attack the problems for the future when they come.

A word

Imagine stressing now about what would happen in the future and then worrying about it again after it has already happened it means you worked yourself out twice!

For now, do that one thing you love, anything at all even just playing games (some find it helpful to get a snack) long as you feel truly happy and your mind is far away from what is stressing you.

I would recommend dancing and singing out loud first of all because they will make you stand on your feet and secondly, it is much fun when you are singing out of pitch and are dancing off the beat cuz no one is watching.

5. Take care of yourself

You may worry so much about others and the stuff around you that you forget to worry about yourself.

For one moment push all the worry away to create some time for you. Call it "me time" Take care of yourself, and take a cold or warm shower whichever you prefer. You could do your skincare routine, wear your nice dress and shoes, take pictures, put your favorite fruits on a plate, and enjoy their taste in your mouth. Do those little things that you have had on your schedule for a while and yet found no time to do them.

6. Exercise

This doesn’t only mean going for a jog or a run it can also be dance workouts if you are a music fan and you can call it your happy dance. Exercise helps your body release happy hormones that automatically switch up your mood.

You could also do outdoor walking regularly it would help you clear your head leaving you with a calm mind to find a solution to your problem.

A word

It is not easy to avoid worry completely, but you can reduce how much you worry by applying all the above suggestions and looking for solutions to one problem at a time.

For example, instead of thinking “Oh my goodness I have an important presentation tomorrow and imagining all the worst things that could happen, think of the presentation and see all that you can do to prepare for in order not to make a mistake”.
