As we grow older we can't help but look at other people who are either handsome, or more beautiful, stronger or more intelligent than we are and you know compare ourselves to them. It normally isn't wrong but when it starts blinding our eyes from seeing the beauty in us then it needs to stop.      

The big question is How? I'll do the honors of unveiling these secrets right before your eyes....... 

 Be kind to yourself 

First things first......How can you see so many nice things about others and not even a single nice thing to say about yourself! H-o-w? Don't even tell me there is nothing to like. Take a moment to think until you find something that you love about yourself both form the inside (qualites) and from the out side (physique).

There is a solution 

   Yes there is if there is a problem then there is a solution it is either you haven't found it yet or you don't want to accept it.                        

 If it's people talking that is the problem, don't let it get to you. Am sure your like "easy for you to say". It's because I know that the people talking they either don't know you, don't care about you or they want to hurt you and  if you don't LET them they can NEVER hurt you. Read that again please.

Talk

    Do you usually have small talk with your siblings or parents? If not, I know how weird it sounds but there should atleast be that one person who is trustworthy enough for you to  confide in. Even if there is no-one else, who is the best person to encourage you than you, be your own bestie tell yourself what you need to hear, tell yourself positive things like "I got this" "I can do this" and so on.

There are some things in life that you can't control but the one thing you can always control is (how you deal with) your reaction to it.

Write

I'm sure you saw this coming, have a book where you write about your day. I mean everything the fun times(things that made you happy), sad stories (even about that pimple that just appeared on your glowing skin )and overwhelming time also write about how you overcame the challenges for each day and you will see how much of an Emperor/ Empress you are.

Give compliments 

Remember the last time someone gave you a compliment, remember how happy you felt, especially if you didn’t expect it. Keep memories like that very close. 

When you try to help others even in very small ways like giving honest compliments, you’ll see how happy it makes them and it makes you lowkey happy too. Secondly, you will be more focused on helping or finding the good in them, that you have less time to worry about your problems or whatever is making you doubt yourself.

Sometimes you worry too much about what you say and do because that’s you also analyze what others say and do. So, if you do your best to see the good in others and overlook their wrong then maybe just maybe, you’ll be able to find the good in you too. 

Walk down memory lane 

     Think about something that made you sad before,  what helped you walk past that stage and  regain your confidence? Not only does this reduce self-doubt it helps increase self-esteem.

Have a phrase that you can say to yourself when your feeling down like for me it is "smile to every challenge" and really smile after saying that, it's funny but it gives you a less tense look at the situation. 

Don't expect too much 

Expecting to much from yourself is putting a kind of mental pressure on you that you may not realize. So try to set realistic expectations and don't hold back from doing something just because you feel you are not going to do it perfect. Instead, humble yourself and be willing to Learn from your mistakes.

Know what you can and can't do, do the things you can and if there is a need learn the things you can't do, then just do it.

 Set a goal

Think about some nice qualites (love, patience, kindness) you would like to cultivate or some realistic things you would like to achieve maybe by the the end of the week or month. Then, track your progress and applaud yourself (I mean actually clap I need to hear the sounds) for a job welldone.

Don't postpone your happiness 

  It's  not what people do that ruin your day it   is how you react to what people do that makes the difference. Small laughs over even the dumest things can make your day better. So now you may go back and( don’t just smile) laugh out loud at the funny parts of this article.

 You need to act and the time is now that movie you have been waiting to watch, that game you have been waiting to play, that thing you have been waiting for the right time to do, wait no more go Go NOW!!
